Ben Bastion (Wouter Simons) is a DJ / producer from the Netherlands. He started playing records in 2006 and in the last couple of years he developed himself to a DJ who brings uplifting bigroom.

Since September 2007 things started getting more and more seriously when he and friends started the concept « Housetrippers ». With Ben Bastion as resident DJ during these party’s, his name became more and more familiar in Holland. With this growth he has also played at several festivals like Tomorrowland, Solar Festival, Defqon 1, Sneakerz, Groove Garden, Castle of Love, Neverland Festival and many many more.

In 2009, Ben Bastion started with producing his own music. Together with Julian Sennels (Infinitize red.) they released the first two remixes: Jesse Voorn – Nothing You Can Do and Kid Massive – I Dare You. These remixes where well received by the audience and found their way onto the Sensation Belgium (Ocean of White, 2009) CD and Sensation Amsterdam (Wicked Wonderland, 2009) CD.

After these remixes the first own productions followed (Mystery EP). Meanwhile, Ben Bastion’s first solo project, « Screaming For Love », was released on Confidence Records (Spinnin Records) and can also be found on the compilation CD of Mysteryland 2011. Furthermore, there are plenty of projects on hold, waiting to be released and to make sure that the party continuous!

With his energetic, powerful, always melodic DJ sets and productions, Ben Bastion is aiming at (inter)national performances, spreading his vision and passion on dance music. The release of « Screaming For Love » can be considered as the start of his journey in becoming a well known DJ, since he has no plans to stop!!
