The trio SEREBRO consists of Elena Temnikova, Olga Seryabkina, and Anastasya Karpova. The band was founded by a well-known Russian producer Maxim Fadeev in 2006.
Success as a music group came in 2007 with the girls participating in Eurovision Song Contest. SEREBRO showed Europe their debut single “Song#1” performance which zoomed them to #3, and made the trio well-known in Russia and beyond it.
After “Song#1” release the group continued with their spawning singles “Dishi”, “Opium”, “Skazhi – ne molchi”, which topped the major Russian music charts. SEREBRO has already recorded their debut album “OpiumROZ” which was called by Billboard magazine – one of the leading Russian music editions – “the most expected release of 2008”.
SEREBRO has developed its conceptual and austere image. Still, the girls are always open for something different: they’re in a constant search for new images, new forms of self-expression, and new waves. That’s the catch of the trio which continues to attract people to its fast-developing music work.
The key fame element of the group is the music they do. Each song is brought to perfection. The diversity of styles and waves in SEREBRO’s songs is united by the modern sound of high quality. All SEREBRO’s performances are live – all that makes the group stand out in a long row of girl bands.
Nowadays SEREBRO has gained the confidence of both, the leading Russian music critics, and other bands and singers. The group is a welcome participant of the biggest festivals, concerts and other showbiz and sport events. Yet, despite the astounding fame which came to the group soon, the girls are sure that this is just the beginning of a long career.
